Food returns must be stricter than fashion or home goods.

Because many products are perishable, opened, chilled, frozen, or made to order, the return policy needs to be direct. Use this as starter copy and replace it with your legal and operational policy.

Do not accept returns of chilled, frozen, opened, or custom food items unless there is a verified quality or delivery issue.

Ask customers to report damaged or warm deliveries with photos on the delivery day.
